About Us |

Cruickshank and Seward was founded as an Architectural Practice in Manchester in 1923 and carries out commissions both regionally and throughout the UK. The Practice has extensive experience in a wide range of sectors, notably Education, Healthcare, Residential, Industrial and Listed Building Conservation. Projects range from minor works and adaptations through to major new-build projects with a variety of procurement methods. In addition to providing architectural services, the Practice offers considerable experience in the related disciplines of interior design, space planning, energy conservation, access auditing to comply with DDA requirements and building refurbishment. The Cruickshank and Seward design service is built on an in-depth understanding of your aims, objectives and needs. Each project team is hand-picked to meet the specific requirements of the project. As well as our own architects, you'll be introduced to interior designers, space planning specialists, structural and civil engineers … whoever is needed to create the best design for the job. Cruickshank and Seward's senior architects remain fully involved with your project to guarantee a quality service from inception to completion. It's an approach that works.
